January Prayer Focus

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”  Isaiah 43:19

Happy New Year!  Please find a prayer below that I am going to ask us to join together to pray for the UMSI this month.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your grace and mercy that pursues us daily.  Thank you that your love is manifested and made known to us and that you are radically for us.

Thank you that you are doing a new work in the communities of the University-Model®.  God, we are approaching Your throne with boldness and confidence and asking the hearts of the Father be turned back to the family. Lord God, we pray that this generation would have a heart to allow you to be known through them. Holy Spirit, strengthen our parents not to be led astray by the world’s system but to partner with their schools to raise up students who persevere, take responsibility, are willing to be humble, and learn to be still to hear the voice of their Father. Thank you for parents who sacrifice their time to choose a road less traveled and refresh their calling this semester.

Father, bring more families across the country to partner with the University-Model® to impact the next generation for the Kingdom. We pray for the leadership of UMSI and ask there would be unity under your authority throughout the organization, regional leaders, board members, administrators, teachers, and families. May the unity in Christ Jesus be a proclamation to those who are witnessing, and may it testify of the goodness and power you behold. We pray corporately that Jesus Christ would be lifted up in each school as your vessel and point their community to the King who holds all things together. You are making a way in the wasteland and making it beautiful, and we rejoice because we are invited to be part of your plan.

By Faith we commit our steps to accomplish Your plans and sing of Your praises evermore.

Amen

I have been at KACS for 13 years, both at the administrative level and as a parent. God has birthed this model in my heart. I am passionate about students knowing their identity in Christ and encouraging families to be intentional with the time God has given them with their children. Prior to KACS, I worked in Arlington ISD in personnel. I have no greater joy than to hear that our students are walking in the truth! 3 John 1:4.
