Innovate Academy is a unique learning community whereby like-minded parents, mentors, and local leaders are committed to the spiritual formation of young scholars through a collaborative model of education that combines onsite, at home, and service to community learning.
Our mission is to engage the whole child through a head, heart, and hands approach to learning in order to shape thoughtful, passionate, and entrepreneurial leaders of culture.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) are our core days onsite at our campus in Chadds Ford, with a 4th optional day on Mondays. We provide a full, five-day curriculum with a user-friendly online learning platform for at home days. We are affiliated with both ACCS and UMSI (University-Model Schools International).

Sets an example for young scholars (students), parents, and fellow faculty members in speech, actions, attitude, and judgment by living in obedience to God’s Word and demonstrating a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ
Integrates biblical truths and the Innovate Academy philosophy throughout the curriculum.
Integrates subjects to facilitate a holistic educational experience.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and passion for the subject(s) taught.
Uses clear language and vocabulary appropriate to the level of the young scholars.
Explains and connects the unfamiliar with what is familiar to the young scholars.
Uses effective teaching techniques that stimulate and arouse the young scholars’ interest.
Does not presume the young scholars’ previous understanding of new terms and concepts.
Frequently reviews and fosters the application of all learning material.
Uses and applies the classical approach to any subject and grade level being taught, as well as service learning and STEAM approaches.
Creates clear curriculum goals and provides lessons in order to achieve them. Prepares and submits weekly lesson for the administrator’s review.
Assigns a proper amount of homework effective for drill, review, enrichment, or project work.
Assesses the learning of young scholars regularly, using a variety of assessment tools.
Promptly grades and provides constructive feedback on assignments.
Seeks to understand the needs, interests, and learning styles of each young scholar and curates individualized educational plans for each child in partnership with parent-educators
Maintains a clean, attractive, and well-ordered classroom.
Cooperates with the administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and guidelines governing the operation of the school.
Maintains regular and accurate attendance and grade records for a comprehensive understanding of each young scholar’s progress.
Keeps young scholars, parents, and the administration adequately informed of any deficiencies and provides suggestions for improvement.
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience (full time; benefits included)
