The officers and trustees of NAUMS, Inc. are privileged to announce that two representatives from Rise and Shine Nursery and Primary School of Rwanda want to come to the 2020 UMSI Summit, but they need your help!
The Republic of Rwanda, one of the smallest countries in Central Africa, is home to slightly more than 11 million people (as of 2015). The nation’s Protestant population numbers more than one third of the population. Roman Catholics comprise more than 40%. Despite Rwanda’s bustling economic growth over the last two decades, nearly 40% of the population still lives in poverty. Learn more about Rwanda’s culture and history at:

Clearly, Rwanda’s continued development–both spiritually and economically–depends on education in general and Christian education in particular. To this end, the representatives of Rise and Shine are interested in becoming the first University-Model® and UMSI member school in Africa.
Please prayerfully consider helping underwrite the Rise and Shine representatives’ travel expenses to the Summit. All monies collected will be used to help defray the travel expenses of the Rwanda team coming to the Summit.
