The SBSUM director of athletics is a member of the school leadership team. He/she plays a pivotal role in furthering the mission of Second Baptist School by promoting the school’s core values and the portrait of a graduate distinctives. 

The director of athletics will work with a team of coaches to provide athletic opportunities for students in middle and upper school. The SBSUM athletic program will also provide intramural opportunities for lower school students. He/she will be responsible for the development, management and review of the campus community relations and promote responsive and creative thinking in a partnership between school and home.
