Discipling Children at Home
Helping our children grow spiritually is a huge responsibility and can seem overwhelming at times. And yet, we know that God equips us for the task. “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” (2 Peter 1:3). Dependence on God is the key element in discipling your child. Prepare your heart and seek God’s help through prayer. Look at the relationship you currently have with your child and consider any barriers that need to be removed. Pray often. Pray for wisdom and discernment.
Grace has truly been the answer to our dreams and desires of how we wanted our son to learn. The environment and culture of family is what every family hopes and prays for, especially in the world today. Our son has learned how to learn and not just regurgitate. He takes ownership of his education even as a first grader and we know he is learning life skills and developing character that will take him in the direction of his purpose with an understanding of how to succeed in life.Katie M. | Grace Preparatory School
