UMSI is pleased to announce to UMSI schools that the Art Competition is returning to the 2019 UMSI Summit! This competition will provide an opportunity for participating UM teachers and administrators to submit student artwork for judging and awards.
Schools with at least one delegate attending the UMSI Summit are eligible to submit 2D and 3D art pieces created by current students. Schools may enter up to 15 total pieces in the competition. A maximum of 6 pieces at the elementary level (K-6) and a maximum of 9 pieces from the secondary level (7-12) may be entered. For schools that only have an elementary art program, a total of 8 pieces may be entered.
NEW for the 2019 competition: Photography (grades 9-12) will be accepted into the art competition.
Instructions:
Delegates to the conference should bring all art pieces to the registration table when registering for the conference. The art awards will be held on Wednesday, June 26 during lunch. The delegate at the conference must be in attendance to receive the awards on behalf of the winning students.
